The first start of Marcus Rashford for Barcelona lasted on Saturday evening only 45 minutes but Boss Hansi Flick insisted that his decision to eliminate the Leenlee of Manchester United during the rest was purely tactical.
The 27-year-old England attacker joined Barca on loan last month with an option for a permanent relocation worth around £ 30 million.
He made his La Liga debut of the bank in the 3-0 victory of last weekend at Mallorca, before he got a place in the starting XI for the trip to Levante.
Rashford stood on the left on the left wing in a rear -up attack where Raphinha was used at the center behind Ferran Torres and teenage sensation Lamine Yamal Widely on the right side.
He looked early and forced goalkeeper Pablo Campos in a rescue in the first minutes after holding his own normal corner, and later Nootmeggen Defender Roger Brugué to the delight of the traveling fans.
But Barcelona was 2-0 behind the interval after the opener of Ivan Romero and a controversial Jose Luis Morales penalty, and Flick responded by replacing Rashford with Dani Olmo while he was also sent to Gavi for Marc Casado.
The changes paid off almost immediately when Pedri and Torres quickly hit the scores before the scores's own goal completed a dramatic 3-2 comeback victory for the Spanish champions.
Flick explained why Rashford was withdrawn and said: 'Of course, the second half, we have to change something. Raphinha on the [left] Side is our No. 11.
“He knows everything [about how we play]; What we want to do if he has to come in.
“I think we got the right changes. But of course, when we score the first goal so early in the second half, it helps us a lot and it changed the strategy. '
Although he was addicted to the break, Flick insisted that he was satisfied with Rashford's contribution, and added: 'I think Marcus had some situations in the first half where he showed how good he is and how he can help us.
“This is for me where we have to go on.”
