Tony Ferguson still has an ax to grind with long -term rival Khabib Nurmagomedov, this time aimed at his management team.
Forever, tied to the Russian icon, Tony Ferguson will have made his first outing in combat sports outside the UFC since 2011, because he is competing in pro -boxing for the first time.
And failing to make a resentment fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov for his notorious retirement from 2021, Ferguson has long held the faith that he was the one who defeated the undefeated Russian star.

Increasingly, Nurmagomedov and former interim light weight champion Ferguson were planned to fight five separate occasions during their respective Octagon runs.
But due to injury, illness and even travel restrictions, the duo never fought.
And while he thinks about their notorious rivalry, Nurmagomedov claimed that there was only one possible scenario in which the valued Ferguson could have beat him – albeit unlikely.
“He (Ferguson) has no struggle. He has no struggle,” Nurmagomedov told the Inspire Me Podcast last year.
“What is he going to do to me? How is he going to stop me? Only a chance of how he can stop me, it was just a happy blow.
