However, the Mali International is never showing up for that medical one, with Auxerre not giving the green light for the player to travel, according to L'équipe. The version of events between the two clubs differs. Auxerre states that the details of the deal have not been smoothed, in particular details about the entourage of the player.
However, Lens argues that the deal has been fully agreed and in writing. “The management has done everything they had to do, did the procedures that they have been asked, so the documents have been written out. You have to respect what has been written,” said Lens Manager Pierre Sage on Sunday.
