Manchester City and Liverpool-linked Rodrygo Goes alters transfer stance

Real Madrid star Rodrygo Goes looks on it all summer for the starting door, but it seems that he might stay in the Santiago Bernabeu. The Brazilian is strongly connected to Premier League Giants, but so far no one has made a decisive move for him.

Arsenal was initially heavily connected to Rodrygo, but the signing of Ebereechi Eze, after heavy investments in Viktor Gyokees and Noni Madueke, has eradicated it from the running. In the meantime, Manchester City has also identified Rodrygo as an option like Savio Moreira makes a switch to Tottenham Hotspur, but that also stays in the air. Liverpool has considered Rodrygo in the same way as an alternative if they cannot close a deal for Alexander Isak.

On Sunday evening, Rodrygo received a surprise start against Real Oviedo, only his second under Xabi Alonso, and his second in 14 games, a run that extends four months to April and the Carlo Ancelotti era. The Brazilian started a competent as a non -spectacular show and was withdrawn after 63 minutes for fellow countryman Vinicius Junior.

After he got rid of it, Rodrygo's frustration was clearly on the couch, and his chances of returning to the starting XI will not have been helped by a goal and an assist of Vinicius in the final phase.

According to Cadena Ser, however, Rodrygo has decided to stay in Real Madrid in the coming season and will fight with Vinicius for a starting point on the left side of the attack. They also continued with detail that while Rodrygo accepted the challenge to play on the right against Al-Hilal during the club World Cup opener, he later asked Alonso to compete for his place on the left, his natural position.

However, doing this against Vinicius is not an easy task. It should be noted that these reports have been contradicted in England, where it has been reported that Rodrygo has requested a switch from Los Blancos.
