Chivu has returned to Inter and served the club as a player and youth coach.
Inter -goalkeeper Sommer told the club's competition program: “He is a complete coach, you can see it as he deals with us on the field and in how he deals with situations.
“He is very calm but also very attentive: he has a big mentality and energy.”
Of his own form that enters the new season, the veteran also said: “Calm and clarity are essential in my role, just like knowing how to deal with pressure.
“I have always paid special attention to my footwork; it is a fundamental component for me. Since my childhood I have worked hard to improve in this area and I have been lucky to have coaches who appreciated this ability in me.”
