The 25-year-old is perhaps the most prominent member of the notorious 'Bomploeg' by Man United after his return of his loan to Chelsea at the end of last season.
Sancho reportedly had many offers to leave the club this summer, with Juventus, Napoli and, most recently, Roma all interested.
Roma was supposed to have agreed a deal with Man United that would see the winger connect with a first loan with a £ 20 million to buy.
Massara has since come out and confirms that the deal has been switched off and says: “There are no conditions for continuing with this deal, especially because Sancho does not have the motivations to become a member of AS Roma.”
