Forest reach agreement with Juventus to sign Douglas Luiz in season long loan deal

The Italian giants have agreed to send the Brazilian to the forest for a first loan agreement with an obligation to buy as reported by the athletic journalist and transfer expert David Ornstein who confirmed the deal on Wednesday afternoon.

“Nottingham Forest Reach Agreement with Juventus to sign Douglas Luiz. Deal for 27yo #juve midfielder loan + buy mechanisms for #NFFC on ~ € 30 million; obligation based on games played or option if Brazil int'l is short of the required performances.”

Luiz struggled to meet expectations, did not reach the level that was anticipated, the reports that the State has encouraged to encourage Juventus to make him rather instead of moving later. Talksport reports that former Arsenal -technical director Edu played a key role in bringing his colleague Brazilian to the city.

The 27-year-old played 175 Premier League matches for Villa and helped them qualify for last season's Champions League. He now returns to the Premier League and could stay if he performs well under manager Nuno Espírito Santo who closely monitors his versions.
