Johnny Walker is back in the win column after scoring a unique knockout
The old light heavyweight competition fought against Zhang Mingyang on Saturday in the UFC Shanghai Main Event.
After a difficult first frame, Johnny Walker turned things around to land two nasty stairs on the calf of his opponent.
Zhang Mingyang fell to the ground and tried to survive, but after a ruthless follow -up, referee Marc Goddard waved the fight in the middle of the round two.

Johnny Walker stops Zhang Mingyang
Johnny Walker shot for a poorly advised Takedown at the start of the first round.
Zhang Mingyang was easy to do it before he spent the next few minutes in top position.
The favorite of the Brazilian fan spent most of the first five minutes on switching between his obvious wrestling game plan and initiating wild stock exchanges to try to score a knockout.
But in the end he cracked and injured by various annoying shots of Zhang Mingyang.
Walker looked like he might be able to suffer a third consecutive Ko loss while he kept eating two large shots in round.
Everything changed when he landed back-to-back legs to drop his painful rival.
A huge barrage of bumps followed and Walker won his first victory since he defeated Anthony Smith in May 2023.
Johnny Walker's Losing Streak
Johnny Walker's three-fecht winning run was broken at the beginning of 2024.
Future light heavyweight champion Magomed Ankalaev hit him out during his rise of the 205LB ranks.
The Brazilian tried to bounce back when he fought a few months later against an eternal competition Volkan Ozdemir.
Unfortunately for Walker, he was brutally eliminated in the first round of his collision of June 2024 with the harsh hunter from Switzerland.
14 months later, Walker is back in the win column after an impressive performance at UFC Shanghai.
