Barça board forced to consider drastic method to register player before deadline

Barcelona is again considering drastic action to ensure that they can register players before the end of the transfer window. After initially implementing a guarantee against their own personal funds to ensure that Marcus Rashford and Joan Garcia could play against RCD Mallorca on the opening day, they can be forced into a second guarantee.

Despite Rashford and Garcia with in the first two games of the season, Gerard Martin, Wojciech Szczesny and Roonon Bardghji are not available. The Blaugrana could not even lend Bardghji or Szczesny, because they have not been registered at first.

The ideal scenario is that with an imminent loan for Inaki Pena to Elche, a contract termination for Oriol Romeu and a loan movement for Hector Fort, which would free up enough space to register all three of the above. However, the prognosis is that there would not be enough space in their salary limit to register Bardghji.

With a decreasing hope for their VIP chairs of € 100 million deal, and not a sign of one of one of Fermin Lopez or Marc Casado that is open to a transfer, there is no clarity about how Barcelona is planning to resolve the case. Young people Jan Virgili and Alexis Olmedo are also linked to outputs.

After their first € 7 million warranty to help Rashford and Garcia register, Marca says that the Barcelona sign is considering a second guarantee of approximately € 5 million to register Bardghji, Martin and Szczesny. The final amount would depend on the deals that are made for the above exits.

The guarantee enables a board or owner to provide a cash injection of a maximum of 5% of a club's budget to temporarily help the finances and to release the money from the treasury. However, that money must be compensated in the course of the financial year, otherwise the board members will be personally liable for the same amount at the end of their mandate.
