Newcastle wants Isak to return to training and plays in an attempt to force a move to Anfield earlier this month. The Swedish international remains non -unpleasant that he will never again appear before the club and only sees himself as a Liverpool player in the future.
Vlahovic to replace Isak?
Adding a new center-forward is an important priority for the magpies, which have since been rejected by a large number of strikers such as Hugo Ekitike who signed for the Reds and Benjamin Sesko who came to Manchester United earlier this summer.
Now, as reported by journalist Ben Jacobs, Newcastle has had the opportunity to sign Juventus star Vlahovic, who could be the club's solution for securing an ISAK replacement.
“Newcastle United has been given the opportunity to sign Dusan Vlahovic.
“Sources in Italy say that Juventus Vlahovic raised as a potential replacement for Liverpool -target white Alexander Isak.
“Juve is willing to accept offers around € 30 million to get the Serbian striker of their wage account after the arrival of Jonathan David.”
Newcastle shows no interest
Negotiations on a new deal for Vlahovic with the Serie A -side seemed uncertain in recent weeks. The club is reluctant to allow a player of the Vlahovic caliber to leave for a free transfer and it seems that their only option is now to offer him to other top clubs.
Despite the chance, Jacobs reports that Newcastle has shown zero interest that suggests that Vlahovic was never on their list of potential Isak replacements.
As it looks now, Newcastle is not going to continue. Also unclear whether Vlahovic would be open to a move to St James' Park.
