This summer, Bruno Fernandes is the subject of interest from Saudi Arabia and the captain of Manchester United has made a decision about his long-term future
Captain Bruno Fernandes of Manchester United is reportedly open to leaving the club next summer after he has rejected a very lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia. Fernandes was strongly connected to a move to Al-Hilal earlier this summer, but in the end he decided to reject their offer.
Al-Hilal considered a bid of £ 100 million and was prepared to pay Fernandes £ 700,000 a week and he could have earned around £ 200 million for the duration of a three-year-old deal. Since then, however, he has been associated with a switch to another Saudi-Pro competition, with Al-Eittihad who reportedly held conversations with the representatives of Fernandes.
The Daily Mail, however, reports that Fernandes wants to stay in United for another year to avoid some disturbance prior to the World Cup 2026. The report states that he would then consider leaving after the tournament.
It is claimed that Fernandes would be open to a club in Saudi Aarabia, America or another major European competition. And United can decide to cash in, just pronounced £ 130 million on Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha to play in Fernandes's favorite no. 10 roll.
Fernandes explained his decision to reject Al-Hilal, Sky Sports said earlier this month: “I haven't filled my dreams here yet. I think I can still give something to the club. I think I am still in a position where I am helpful, so the thing is that I will be here until the club, it's time to go.”
