‘Still got it…’ Fans react as Daniel Cormier dominates in new sparring footage

Fans are certainly in the arms next to the newly released sparring images of veteran ex-Puc Kingpin Daniel Cormier.

A dominant force in the light heavyweight limit during his run in the UFC, Daniel Cormier also created the heavyweight crown before his retirement in 2020 as part of a career in the Hall of Fame in the sport.

And during his time away from the cage, Cormier continued to train the new harvest of hunters and amateur wrestlers at his academy in Gilroy, California.

But don't expect Cormier to hold the gloves more, despite the fact that many fans believe that he would go to MMA as a duck to still water.

Fans flow over new Daniel Cormier Sparring images

A fan favorite hunter during his memorable term of office in the UFC, Cormier would enjoy Strikeforce success with a Grand Prix victory before he once entered the Octagon.

And with the help of his wrestling background, the former Olympic star and the American team captain Cormier seems to have those exact skills as sharp as always in new sparring images.

Cormier did it out with a younger sparring partner and effortlessly grabbed and stumbled for countless Takedowns, and mixed some boxing on the feet to great success.

Largely full of praise for the capacity of the Lafayette star to this day, countless fans gushed about Cormier's display, with one writes: “Guy,” DC “can still move fairly quickly.”

A second pointed to the recent exchange between newly beaten middleweight champion Khamzat Chimaev and Cormier – where the Chetsjes picked him up during a cordial confrontation and placed: “Khamzat really lit a fire in this man after he picked it up.”

A third user even went so far that he claimed that Cormier would probably still hang at the current heavyweight division, and would post: “I believe that DC can still defeat 5 from the top 10 current heavyweights.”

Vreedzaam claimed a fourth commentator that if Cormier devoted himself only six months to full -time training, he would defeat the current heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall and wrote: “If DC trained for 6 months, he would beat Aspinall.”

Daniel Cormier's beautiful UFC Takedown Record

As mentioned, Cormier successfully used his shiny amateur strangling background to great success during his title run with double weight in the UFC.

Picked up at only eight times during that run, Cormier was put on the chair of his pants by Stipe Miocic, as well as title finances Anthony Johnson and Alexander Gustafsson, and another notorious enemy.

During their first of two fights, Cormier's historic rival Jon Jones put the Olympian on the mat at an impressive three separate occasions – the first to be in the career of the Louisianan in combat sports.
