Lille reach agreement in principle with Rangers for Hamza Igamane

According to a report from RMC sports journalist Fabrice Hawkins and confirmed by Foot Mercato, Lille OSC has in principle reached an agreement with Rangers for striker Hamza Igamane (22).

If everything goes according to plan, the Moroccan international will arrive in the north of France on Thursday to complete his medical, where he will sign a three -year contract (with an extra year as an option).

A deal between the two clubs has long been in the making, where Les Dogues was not willing to meet the transfer story of € 15 million for their most important target. Rangers seem to have been blinked first, where Hawkins writes that the transfer must be around € 12 million.

The arrival of Igamane would help to illuminate considerable pressure on Olivier Giroud (38), who opened the full ninety minutes of Lille's open two games of the season – a situation that seemed untenable in the entire campaign, despite the 2018 World Cup, despite the clear start of life in his home country.
