Danny ings becomes a knife after a short period training with the club, where the former Liverpool and Southampton Ace sign a one-year-old deal with the option to expand.
After leaving West Ham United at the end of last season, ings arrives in Bramall Lane and joined the club after having spent his trade at the highest level of English football for more than ten years.
When signing for the Blades, Ingen noted: “I am very happy. It has been a few days. When I spoke to the manager and he asked me to spend some time with him and the group, I just thought it was a great opportunity. To talk to you now, and the Sheffield United fans, is just fantastic.
“As soon as I spoke with the manager, I wanted to go here and sit down face-to-face and meet everyone here. To be sitting here now, and drawn, it is really exciting.
“I kept myself fit and I just waited for the right opportunity. I thought this was a great thing for me and an opportunity to also develop my career.”
Born in Winchester, ings started his career at Southampton before he was released as a schoolboy and then progressed through the youth ranks and to the first team photo in Bournemouth, while also enjoying a successful loan in Dorkester Town.
A switch from Dean Court to Burnley followed and saw him reunited with former Cherries -Baas Eddie Howe in August 2011.
During the 2013-14 season, his career lit and scored 22 goals to be named Championship Player of the Year, because the Clarets finished second to secure automatic promotion to the Premier League, scored 11 times during his first taste of top football.
After the relegation of Burnley, ings earned a move to Liverpool, where he had experience playing in the Europa League and also claimed the honor to score in a Merseyside Derby. He made a clear start of life in Anfield, with his form who earned him a first senior English cap from the bank when England Lithuania defeated 3-0 in a qualifying match of European Championship.
Injury would eventually disrupt his progress and with the Reds that contribute to their attacking options, he returned to Southampton to regularly look for playing time. At St. Mary's rediscovered IGS a part of its best form, with a return of 25 goals in 42 performances during the 2019-2020 season particularly impressive.
His shape earned him an England return, almost five years after his first limit, while he played in a Nations League win in Iceland. He played again a month later for the three lions and scored in a friendly victory on Wales.
Another profitable campaign with the saints followed, so Aston Villa spent a reported £ 25 million to secure its services in August 2021 and remained impressive during his two years in the Midlands.
In January 2023 he joined West Ham, where he spent the past two and a half years. Here he was an unused replacement in the final when the Hammers won the Europa Conference League in 2023.
