Kai Havertz will miss the World Cup qualifications of Germany against Slovakia and Noord -Ireland due to injury, DFB National Team Director Rudi Voller has confirmed.
The Arsenal striker has been absent since the storage of a knee injury during the 1-0 victory of the Gunners over Manchester United during the opening weekend of the Premier League season.
Havertz then missed the 5-0 win over Leeds United in the Emirates Stadium, where Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka both hoped for the side of Mikel Arteta.
The 26-year-old, who did not play for Germany since their Nations League collision against Bosnia and Herzegovina last November, was also sidelined with a hamstring tear between February and mid-May.

“He will certainly not make it, he has a knee injury,” Voller told the German media. “We do not know exactly how it will go in the coming weeks, whether an operation is coming or it will be treated conservatively.”
Germany launches their world cup qualifying location in Bratislava on 4 September, before he welcomed Noord -Ireland three days later in RheinEnergieStadion.
The side of Julian Nagelsmann, who will also be confronted with Luxembourg in group A, strive to bounce back from the successive defeats they suffered against Portugal and France in the final of the Nations League of June.
