Man City youngster Murphy signs contract extension until 2027

Lily Murphy has signed a new contract with Manchester City and held her at the Super League side of the Women's Super League until June 2027.

The 19-year-old attacker only put Pen on paper on her first professional deal with the club in December after he was broken into the first team last season.

Murphy, who came to City's Academy in 2022, made 22 performances in all competitions in 2024-25, scored two goals and offered two assists.

“It's a great feeling, this is where I worked – getting this extension – and I am looking forward to this season,” she said.

We are pleased to confirm that Lily Murphy signed a contract extension with the club until the summer of 2027.
