Villarreal CF and Paris Saint-Germain have reached an agreement for the transfer of Arnau Tenas, who will play for De Geel until the next four seasons, until June 2029.
Arnau Tenas Ureña (Vic, Barcelona, 30/05/2001) is a young keeper who is known for his excellent reflexes and rapid reactions to shots in close-range. He also stands out for his calmness and ability to play the ball with his feet.
The Catalan Shot stopper developed in the youth academy of FC Barcelona, where he came to the fore as one of the most promising keepers in football. In March 2019, at the age of only 17 and still a youth player, he debuted with Barça B.
His excellent versions for the reserves caught the attention of large European clubs, and in 2023 Paris Saint-Germain assured his signature. With the French side he has lifted six trophies, including the Champions League, although he did not enjoy the playing time at which he had hoped.
One of the biggest performance of TenAS is to win the Olympic gold medal at the Paris 2024 competitions, where he was the starting goalkeeper of Spain in that historic run, and the 2019 UEFA European Under-19 Championship with Spain. The Young Catalaan was established in the youth teams of Spain and even earned a senior call-up in 2022, after he had performed from the U21s to cover an absent teammate.
Welcome, Arnau!
