Ali Abdelaziz was asked about the Islam Makhachev vs. Khamzat Chimaev who might happen.
The dominant middleweight title of Khamzat Chimaev at Dricus Du Plessis followed the Potential Superfight in the main event of UFC 319 earlier this month.
Makhachev is the former pound-for-Pond Koning and the former lightweight champion that makes the switch to Welterweight. Makhachev waived his title in the pursuit of a second belt against champion Jack della Maddalena on 170 pounds.
Although Makhachev and Chimaev are apart, Chimaev recently said that the fastest way to the #1 pound-for-pound planet was by beating Makhachev.
Makhachev has responded since then and says 'we will see', adding that he does not want any problems between their people and that he still has to pass JDM first, which according to Abdelaziz is a 'done deal'.
Chimaev previously fought in his UFC career in Welterweight, but it seems that Team Makhachev is not on board with the matchup.

The manager of Islam Makhachever arranges Khamzat Chimaev fight
Ali Abdelaziz, manager of Makhachev and the legendary Khabib Nurmagomedov, does not think that we once 'Chimaev vs. Makhachev 'will see on the tent.
“This fight will never happen,” said Makhachev's manager about Chimaev vs. Makhachev on Submission Radio.
Abdelaziz has a handful of reasons why.
“First of all, Khamzat is too big,” he began to say.
“I don't think he can ever make good weight,” said Abdelaziz about the middleweight champion.
“And in a sense, like these guys, they know each other. I don't think they come from the same region.
“And to be honest, these fights make absolutely no sense.
“I think that if Khamzat goes up and wants to fight a slightly heavyweight, it might be more logical.
“But in a sense, Khamzat has so many contenders to clean up in the division before she even thinks to go to a different weight distribution,” Abdelaziz added and said that 'Borz' should be honest for the middleweight candidates.
Ali Abdelaziz offers an update about Justin Gaethje's pension
Gaethje refuses to fall back at the age of 36.
The former UFC -Interim -light weight champion wants a third crack to the undisputed title against Ilia Topuria and he claimed that he is willing to retire if he is not in line.
That was in June. Months later, Abdelaziz says that his client still maintains a title option.
“Nothing has changed. Justin is holding on to his gun,” said Gaethje's manager.
“I support him one hundred percent. It's the right thing to do, [is] To give him a title fight.
“The work that Justin did for the UFC – at least I think [UFC] Can do for him, give him a title shot against Ilia Topuria, “Abdelaziz added.
Gaethje's last victory was an almost finish against Rafael Fiziev on UFC 313 in March. 'The highlight' has won three of his last four fights.
