Luke Rockold’s 5 worst KO losses ranked before ex-UFC champion tests his suspect chin in boxing

Luke Rockold has passed many highlights and lows during his 24-Fight Combat Sports career.

The former UFC champion middleweight reached MMA's peak by beating Chris Weidman in 2015.

A decade later, Luke Rockhold tries to save his career after various knockout losing in the UFC and Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship [BKFC].

He is confronted with Darren to the main event of Misfits Boxing 22, which will take place on Saturday evening in Manchester, England.

Before the 40-year-old veteran puts his suspect chin on the line, Bloody Elbow has revised and arranged the five KO Nederlanden who killed his career.

5. Mike Perry

Luke Rockhold made the switch to bare boxing to fight Mike Perry in April 2023.

It didn't go well, because the 'King of Violence' literally struck his teeth and the face hit BKFC 41.

Perry did not land a knockout blow, but the punishment he took out forced a stopping.

Rockhold took his mouthpiece out and stopped in the middle of the round two, because he no longer wanted to weigh any more damage in a sport he has thrown away since then.

4. Vorror Belfort

UFC debut is not much more difficult than Vitor Belfort during TRT-Fuelled Prime Years.

That is where Rockhold had to deal with to cross to the most important promotion of MMA as the Strikeforce Middleweight Champion.

'The phenomenon' caught him with a photo-perfect rotating heel kick when they collided in May 2013.

Rockhold fell on the ground, but was still consciously until Belfort set up his lights with six annoying land attacks.

3. Yoel Romero

Five years later, the second run of Rockhold on the UFC Middleweight title was closed by Yoel Romero.

The chiseled Cuban powerhouse had built up a reputation for scoring late knockouts after stopping Chris Weidman, Lyoto Machida, Tim Kennedy and Derek Brunson in the third round.

Romero delivered a late finish when he fought against Rockhold in February 2018 on UFC 221.

“Soldier of God” supported his opponent on the fence before he made contact with a heli apple about my own.

Rockhold was dazed and confused on the floor when he ate a single follow -up shot that bounced the former 185 pounds of King's head of the octagonal wall and brought him cold.

2. Jan Bachowicz

The next fight by Rockhold saw him undergo a similarly devastating Ko loss as Jan Bachowicz.

Rockhold saw a poorly advised move to heavyweight against the harsh fan favorite at UFC 239 in July 2019.

A brutal victory for Blachowicz seemed inevitable even before he landed with his legendary Polish force.

Rockhold was again lost on the floor when Bachowicz was connected to a left corner on the break. A few follow-up records closed the show and put an end to the very short period of Rockhold in the 205LBS division of the UFC.

1. Michael Bisping

The fall of Rockhold started when he accepted a short-notice fight with Michael Bisping.

The reigning middleweight champion dropped out and stitched Bisping during his rise to the top.

So he thought it would be easy if 'The Count' came from a film that he canceled at UFC 199 in June 2016 at the UFC 199 cancellation.

Bisping took off one of the greatest disturbances in the UFC history when he hit and finished Rockhold in one round.

There can be more brutal finishes on the list, but none of them was just as shameful as bouncing his head of the UFC cage.

Rockhold has never really recovered from the humiliating defeat, which he will try to a certain extent by beating the English countryman of Bisping, Darren Till, at Misfits Boxing 22 this weekend.
