Former UFC hunter Bryan Battle undoubtedly wishes that he did these 13 days earlier instead …
UFC 319 took place on August 16 and was a successful event, with a number of memorable finishes that took place before Khamzat Chimaev Drus du Plessis dominated in the main event to start a new middleweight era.
But Fight Week was far from smooth for the leading promotion of MMA, with a number of matchups that fell on the late notification. Days before Chicago's pay-per-view, the attacks quickly started to fall off the line-up, with the third cancellation in the space of just two days after a shocking error on the scale.
Battle missed weight with four pounds for UFC 319, which resulted in his middleweight collision against nurse Ruziboev that is being demolished. Indiscetion marked the second straight weight miss of the American and rose despite 'the butcher' after he had not reached the limit of Welterweight.
Only 13 days later, however, Battle was back on the scale
