13 September sees the return of NOCHE UFC for the third year in a row.
Although the long -awaited main event of featherweight between Diego Lopes and Jean Silva has remained together, the map has experienced a number of major changes.
The most striking thing is that the event will now take place at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas after it had moved from Guadalajara, Mexico because of locations.
Various fighting fell off the map in the run -up to the event, with Raquel Pennington withdrew from her fight with Norma Dumont.
Now, just over two weeks from Fight Night, this year's Noche UFC has taken a big hit.
Raul Rosas Jr.'s Matchup with Rob Font reportedly drawn from Nouch UFC card
The Co-Main event on 13 September would contain one of the most exciting rising talents in sport that earns a shot on his first ranked opponent.
Since his first loss in his second Octagon performance in April 2023, Raul Rosas Jr. Four consecutive victories compiled at Bantamweight.
The 20-year-old star participated in last year's Nochche UFC event and this time would appear in a much prominent place in a much more prominent place.
Rosas Jr. Was booked for the #9-ranged Rob Font, who is currently running at the momentum of back-to-back victories on Jean Matsumoto and Kyler Phillips.
Font is only lost from the very best on 135 pounds, making it a major test and stands up for Rosas Jr. In San Antonio.
Unfortunately, after a first report from Polslockmma, MMA Fighting's Mike Heck reported that the competition is now disabled, adding that the UFC wants to find a replacement for font, although nothing has been secured yet.
NOCHE UFC loses another Mexican star
One of the biggest setbacks as a result of some of the Noche UFC fighting abnormalities is that the card now looks fairly light on Mexican stars.
Of course Diego Lopes will still be headline on the map and represent both Brazil and Mexico, but Raul Rosas Jr. Was a large part of this because of his heritage.
Another cancellation happened after Edgar Coersez, who also fought at last year's Noche UFC, withdrew from his matchup with Alessandro Costa due to an injury.
Robt -font will hopefully remain in action against another opponent, but this matchup felt like a particularly strong addition to this specific event.
