Jake Paul claims his fight against Mike Tyson has broken all viewing records since Muhammad Ali
Following the astronomical event that took place at the 80,000-seat AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and was streamed live on Netflix, the streaming platform announced that the fight was streamed by more than 60 million households.
In an official press release, Netflix also revealed that more than 50 million households were streaming the huge co-main event war between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano, with Taylor once again taking the controversial decision win.
The streaming giant has announced that additional information, including total viewership, will be released early this week, and that the Paul vs Tyson and Taylor vs Serrano 2 $18 million gate is the largest gate outside of Las Vegas in US history.
But before the final songs were released, 'The Problem Child' turned to X (formerly Twitter) with a statement that stunned fans.
“Me and Mike Tyson have broken every viewership record in boxing since the GOAT Muhammad Ali. Wow.”

Although numbers are approximate, Muhammad Ali's iconic boxing career was filled with historic fights, continually breaking viewership records. Ali's rematch against Leon Spinks in 1978 had an estimated 2 billion viewers worldwide.
Muhammad Ali's daughter reflects on Mike Tyson's boxing comeback
Despite the huge financial success Tyson will enjoy from his fight against the 27-year-old, his performances in the ring have come under fire from former multi-weight world champion Terence Crawford, who claimed he looked 'dirty'.
Not only that, but Muhammad Ali's daughter, Rasheda Ali Walsh, spoke to Fox News after the historic fight and stated that her father would have been “mortified” if Tyson made the money he did from his comeback.
“My dad really went outside his comfort zone and he was the first boxer to actually fight a wrestler, so then it was like, we can intertwine different types of techniques and martial arts can come together.
“(The event) was exciting and I was really excited to see Mike back in the ring, it was great. Dad wanted people to spend money to see him fight, boxers didn't make money like Tyson made.
“Dad would be ashamed because boxers back then didn't earn that much, they were fighting for their lives,” Ali's daughter continued.
