Luis Enrique praised his team's level of control after Paris Saint-Germain thumped Lyon 3-1 on Sunday.
Lyon's nine-match unbeaten run ended as goals from Ousmane Dembele, Vitinha and Goncalo Ramos sealed the points for PSG.
Luis Enrique's side are now seven points clear of Marseille at the top of Ligue 1. With the winter break approaching, PSG have the only unbeaten record in the French top flight.
Georges Mikautadze dragged Lyon back into the match before half-time by making it 2-1, but Luis Enrique was delighted with the way his side repelled Lyon's threat in the second half.
“We played against an opponent full of confidence, and I think we were at a very good level,” said Luis Enrique, who will oversee his 50th Ligue 1 match in charge of PSG when they play Monaco on Wednesday.
“At the end of the first half, conceding that goal may have cost us something, but when you play against players of this caliber it is important to make very few mistakes and overall we are happy.”
PSG recorded 60.8% successful matches, the highest percentage in a Ligue 1 match this season. Lyon's 39.2% pass rate represented the second lowest rate in 2024-2025.
The hosts were 2-0 up at the Parc des Princes after 15 minutes, with Desire Doue integral to their fast start.

He beat Dembele for the winger's sixth goal in 18 games in all competitions this season before winning a penalty, which was converted by Vitinha.
Doue said: “I felt very good. Tonight I tried again to listen to the coach's advice, apply the tactics and also help my teammates. Try to do my best to perform and help the team. “
“It's also for the fans who constantly cheer us on. They always push us, even in the most difficult moments we've had lately. We're coming back well and that's the most important thing.”
With eleven wins and four draws from fifteen matches in Ligue 1 this season, PSG is one of only three teams left unbeaten in the top ten European leagues, alongside Juventus and Galatasaray.
