‘I hate him!’… Jake Paul destroyed by comedian Chris Rock for boxing Mike Tyson during viral Saturday Night Live monologue

Comedian Chris Rock didn't hold back for Jake Paul's victory over Mike Tyson during his Saturday Night Live opening monologue.

Jake Paul returned to the win column a few weeks ago in his most recent boxing match against heavyweight Mike Tyson. Despite the significant age difference between Paul and Tyson, the fight went the full distance, although Paul admitted to carrying Tyson in the later rounds.

Since Paul's unanimous decision to win, many have speculated whether or not the fight against Tyson was possible. Since the event, several conspiracy theories have circulated on social media, including allegations that Paul Tyson gave subtle clues as to when he would throw punches.

Paul and Most Valuable Promotions have denied all allegations of fraud and fighting fixes.

Weeks away from the event, the historic Paul vs. Tyson fight remains a major talking point when discussing the biggest combat sports events of 2024. One of the world's biggest comedians included the Paul vs. Tyson fight in his act and had no positives to say about the polarizing boxer.

Comedian Chris Rock scorches Jake Paul during the viral Saturday Night Live monologue

During his opening monologue on Saturday Night Live, Chris Rock went off on Paul after beating the aging Tyson.

'Jake Paul beats Mike Tyson, who cares? Who is this Jake Paul? Rock said about Paul. “27-year-old punched a 60-year-old man in the face. Is this what the white man has reduced himself to? Stop it. Who will he fight next? Morgan Vrijman?

'I hate Jake Paul! I have a landlord who hates Jake Paul. I hate him! I hate him like cocaine hates monogamy.”

As of this writing, Paul has not yet responded to Rock's monologue. He is in talks to return to the ring in 2025, possibly in a rematch against Tommy Fury.

Paul hasn't made many high-profile fans during his career in the boxing ring. He has become one of the biggest players in combat sports despite only a handful of fights on his resume.

NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal, who sat center stage for Paul vs. Tyson later explained how he felt 'robbed' watching the fight take place.

Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson gets high-profile spotlight on SNL

Despite receiving hate from all sides, Paul has won five straight fights since suffering his first career defeat to Fury last year. Before the Tyson fight, he had recent victories over former UFC superstar Nate Diaz and Bare Knuckle FC standout Mike Perry.

Jake and Logan Paul have become two of the most polarizing names in boxing during their short careers in the ring. Logan, who has not fought since beating Dillon Danis in a boxing match last year, is planning a return to the ring in 2025.

Tyson made his return to professional boxing nearly two decades after a loss to Kevin McBride in 2005. He returned in an exhibition fight against fellow boxing great Roy Jones Jr. in 2020, with Paul making his professional debut on the undercard.

As 2024 comes to a close, Paul's boxing career continues to make waves in pop culture. Love him or hate him, Paul has become one of the biggest draws in boxing these days, as evidenced by Rock's SNL bit.
