How hard is YOUR Premier League club’s festive fixture list?

According to statistics experts, Chelsea have been given the easiest list of festive matches, but Everton and Sean Dyche are on the naughty step with the most difficult.

Enzo Maresca's Blues face none of the current top six for the next ten games, while the Toffees play five of them in a row in a brutal December gauntlet that would make Santa Claus cry.

Their only consolation is that fellow strugglers Leicester have been dealt the second-heaviest hand and face four of the top six as they battle the winter storm.

The brainiacs at Opta have put together a difficulty table for the next ten matches, assessing the difficulty of each team's respective matches and adding up the total scores.

Ruben Amorim is off to a somewhat rocky start at Manchester United with the ninth toughest run of games, while Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal all have favorable calendars.

Chelsea's 'average opponent rating' of 87 is the most forgiving in the league, while Brighton at 87.7 and Wolves at 88.1 get the next best picks under the tree.

Everton's doomed run is rated at 92, while fellow laggards Leicester are next to Tottenham at 91.4 – just as the pressure on Ange Postecoglou increases.

Manchester United's schedule isn't that alarming, but they face the three toughest assignments possible – away to Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool – to achieve a tough rating of 90.1.

Once the troubles of Arsenal's title challenge are behind them, now is the time to get them back on track. Their Christmas run is ranked as the fourth easiest, with tasty home games against Ipswich and Everton and a chance to spoil Tottenham's New Year at the Emirates on January 15.

Arne Slot's Liverpool have the eighth easiest schedule, with a home game against Manchester City and an away day at Nottingham Forest their only top six tests, while they will have another bite at United and West Ham after the rows early in the season season.

Pep Guardiola needs some Christmas pardon, but the ninth-easiest run isn't much to brag about after four straight defeats for Manchester City. Challenging Liverpool and Aston Villa do not promise to be easy, while they also host United and Tottenham.

Nottingham Forest have been one of the biggest revelations of the season and currently sit fifth in the standings, but could go down like a nine-pin over the next two months.

They make a road trip to Arsenal, City and United in their next four games – along with what they hope will be a celebration at home to Ipswich – while also welcoming Villa, Spurs and Liverpool.

The stockings are not so generous for the newly promoted clubs. Leicester (second most difficult), Southampton (fifth) and Ipswich (eighth) all face three clubs from the top six – and do not play each other.

But the most chilling roster is Everton's. A home game with Wolves could be crucial, but the only other bottom half sides they face are Brentford, Manchester United and Bournemouth.

Between December 7 and 29 they will play against Liverpool (h), Arsenal (a), Chelsea (h), Manchester City (a) and Nottingham Forest (h).

If they get through that period reasonably well, they'll put themselves on course to survive in games where you'd expect others to falter. But it could be a fatal run.
