Carlo Ancelotti praised Real Madrid's attitude during their impressive 3-0 win over Pachuca in the Intercontinental Cup, in what was a record-breaking win for the Italian.
Kylian Mbappe, Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior were all on target as Los Blancos cruised to victory in Doha.
It earned Ancelotti his 15th silverware at Madrid, as the 65-year-old surpassed Miguel Munoz (also 14 titles) to become the most successful coach in the club's history.
The Champions League winners had to wait until the 37th minute to break the deadlock, but were largely in control at the Lusail Stadium.
“We started a bit like that, and then we took control,” Ancelotti said. “We finished well. We had more quality, but we needed attitude.
“Then we got into the game. In the end I liked the attitude. They made the difference up front. There are many [trophies]! I'm very happy. It's a success.”

Rodrygo doubled the lead early in the second half, scoring his fourth goal in five finals for Madrid, having failed to score in any of his previous six.
“I am very happy to win another title and score another goal in a final with this shirt,” the Brazilian forward, who recently returned from injury, told Telecinco.
“It's a bit difficult for me because of injuries. I was out for a month and got injured again. I feel better. I have to work more and rest more.”
“I want to help the team. Everyone has helped me. I feel good. I hope to get better every day.”
Meanwhile, Federico Valverde paid tribute to Ancelotti after his historic win.
“He deserves it too,” the midfielder added. “He won everything. He always helps us.
“We knew that after a long journey and playing one match, it would be difficult. They came from different matches, but we played well. We knew how to face what they threatened.”
