At the beginning of November, Spain – and especially the Valencian community – was devastated by storm DANA. The town of Aldaia was among those affected and the local football field was eventually destroyed due to the extreme weather.
Efforts are underway to restore it, and fortunately that will happen soon. AC Milan and Spanish striker Alvaro Morata will play a big role in this, as MD has reported that its foundation will finance the reconstruction of the football pitch. Members of the Foundation met people associated with the city, as well as the club UD Aldaia CF, whose field was destroyed. The project will cost a total of 300,000 euros.
UD is understood to be “eternally grateful” to Aldaia CF Morata and the Alvaro Morata Foundation for their help, and it is yet another feel-good story to have emerged from Spain amid the devastation caused by storm DANA almost two months ago .
