Barcelona will go into their final match of the year against Atletico Madrid, the main match on Saturday evening, without their main star Lamine Yamal. The 17-year-old suffered a second ankle injury against Leganes, ruling him out for most of the following month.
He has used Ferran Torres, Raphinha and Fermin Lopez in Lamine Yamal's absence, but according to Relevo he is on track to deploy the former Manchester City striker on the right against Atletico. It appears that Torres was deployed there for training on Thursday and that he is the most likely candidate to fill the role.
Certainly in terms of form, Torres is the obvious choice for Flick. Lopez has struggled to produce his best performances this season, while Torres has scored three goals in his last five games. Raphinha is used to playing from the right, and Torres could also play from the left, but it remains to be seen whether Flick will want to change more than one position to cover Lamine Yamal's absence.
