Lyon’s Ernest Nuamah attracting the interest of Premier League clubs

According to a report from L'Équipe, Olympique Lyonnais forward Ernest Nuamah (21) is attracting the interest of several Premier League clubs ahead of a possible move in the winter transfer window. The Les Gones forward is on a list of several players who could leave the Groupama Stadium in January.

Lyon are currently facing possible relegation to Ligue 2 at the end of the season if they do not improve their financial situation. With transfers restricted, the club has been forced to sell players to raise funds ahead of their season meeting with the DNCG. Nuamah's profile and potential make him an excellent candidate for a possible sale.

The 21-year-old almost completed a move to the Premier League on the deadline day of the summer transfer window before a tearful medical resulted in his would-be move to Fulham collapsing. Foot Mercato reports that Crystal Palace, Everton and Fulham are all interested in a potential move for the Ghanaian international.
