Paris Saint-Germain Captain Marquinhos has set his sights on lifting the club World Cup trophy and calls it “a golden opportunity” for the French champions to write history on the world stage.
The Ligue 1-side drove past Real Madrid with an impressive 4-0 victory in the semi-final, but is now confronted with a heavy last test against Chelsea, which passed by Fluminense to book their place in the confrontation.
While the men of Luis Enrique are preparing for the final confrontation, the Brazilian defender emphasized the importance of Focus and emphasized what the title would mean for the club.
“I think we are aware of the importance of this competition. It's a golden chance for us. This competition only comes every four years and we have the chance to win it,” Marquinhos told the media.
“From the first day, the coach told us how important it is and that there will be players who don't get the chance to play it again.

“We understand what the coach asks of us, his feature philosophy. That's why we reached this level. It took a while before things get started, but the level of playing is currently very high. The team is also mentally ready. It is a real honor to be part of it.”
Paris Saint-Germain dates from the Coupe de France final and has won five consecutive knockout matches without giving a single goal, with a dominant 18-0 aggregated score.
That only includes a 10-0 count in the knockout phase of the FIFA Club World Cup. The 16 goals of PSG in this year's tournament also link the record for the most scored in a single Club World Cup campaign.
