AC Milan striker Tammy Abraham was seen praying after teammate Mike Maignan sustained a head injury.
The men of Sergio Conukicao returned to winning ways in the Serie A when they had hit the hosts 4-0 in the collision of Friday evening.
Milan, however, will be concerned about an injury to goalkeeper Maignan, who was picked up on a stretcher after bumping into teammate Alex Jimenez.
The collision of heads took place when the Frenchman came running out of his area in the 54th minute and was unable to delay his momentum before he bumped into Jimenez, who wanted to close a Udinese wing-back Hassane Kamara.
Both players were left on the deck, but Melignan came away worse when he seemed to lose consciousness, with both sets of players apparently left in need.
He was received for a few minutes of treatment on the field before he was picked up in caring scenes on a stretcher.
In the middle of the chaos, Abraham fell on his knees and pray for the health of the shot stopper.
Reports in Italy have since claimed that Maignan was aware and spoke by the time he left the field.
In the meantime, Jimenez was allowed to continue playing, but was finally picked up from the game 18 minutes after the restart.
The excellent attack by Rafael Leao from 18 meters was quickly followed by Strahinja Pavlovic's lightning fence from a corner on the break.
Udinese was forced to chase the match in the second half and Milan benefited from gaps that opened.
Theo Hernandez added a third in the 74th minute when he started a major movement in his own half and finished with an unstoppable shot.
Replacement Abraham's excellent cross led to a fourth of Tijjani Reijnders 10 minutes from time.
