Minutes in UFC Mexico City and the fans are already complaining about the assessment.
Tonight the UFC returns to Mexico City for a Fight Night event that is led by a flying weight between Brandon Moreno vs. Steve Erceg. 12 fights have now been set from CDMX Arena after the shocking cancellation of Joe Pyfer versus Kelvin Gastelum.
Light weights opened the map when Marquel Mederos took it against 'The Ultimate Fighter 31', finalist Austin Hubbard.
The 9-1 Mederos chased his eighth win, while Hubbard looked back from a loss.

Austin Hubbard vs. Marquel Mederos
In the first round, not much happened when Mederos dismissed a Takedown attempt from Hubbard, causing the dance in the striking department to led. Round 2 was a different story with Hubbard who dropped Mederos in the first 20 seconds after Mederos had tried a Guillotine Choke about his entry.
Hubbard picked up 2.5 minutes of control time and endangered a second -hand choke from the back of Mederos.
Mederos survived to see a competitive round 3 where Hubbard scored another Takedown. Hubbard maintained the check for about three minutes. Mederos cut Hubbard with a few short elbows, causing him to spill blood on the canvas.
In the last seconds of the fight, Hubbard tried a Takedown with both men who were in a bit of a stalemate on the floor before the last bell sounded.
