‘Absolutely insane’…UFC fans torch Dana White after UFC 315 star reveals he’s fundraising to pay for title fight travel expenses

UFC Welterweight title Challenger Jack della Maddalena is struggling to pay his team to fly out for his upcoming title fight.

UFC Welterweight Champion Belal Muhammad will make his first career title defense against the promotion-onbeat Jack della Maddalena on UFC 315 in May. Muhammad, who would head UFC 310 against Shavkat Rakhmonov in December in December, returns after winning the championship about Leon Edwards on UFC 304.

Maddalena received the UFC 315 title Despite the fact that Rakhmonov and Sean Brady made recent strong cases to be the first defendant's opponent of Muhammad. But Maddalena owns the star quality and an exciting style that he will use to dethron the Welterege champion.

Despite the clear excitement of preparing a UFC title, Maddalena has to deal with some unexpected obstacles in his UFC 315 camp.

Jack della Maddalena's UFC 315 Fundraising Reignites Feighter Pay Debate

Only a few weeks ahead of UFC 315 Maddalena announced a fundraising to raise money to fly out his entire team for Fight Week by collaborating with a West -Australia bar and Grill, the Roverton Bar and Grill. Fans can donate for a chance to take a drink and a meal with Maddalena for his title fight.

But the goal behind Maddalena's fundraising Fund Fans, who accused Dana White of the financial sticking of one of the top talents of the Welterweight Division.

After the fundraising of Maddalena had made the rounds online, fans did not respond in a friendly way.

“It is absolutely insane that someone who fights for a UFC championship must do fundraisers to bring their team to the fight. UFC should cover this,” wrote a fan on Instagram.

“Actually strange how Dana gambles millions but cannot pay for hunting flights,” said another.

'[Dana White]Don't you be ashamed? See how you can handle the 170 division now Usman Leon and Colby are on losing stripes. “

“I love Jack, but the UFC should pay for your entire team to go to Montreal and plus what? You fight for the title!?!”

“Jack della Maddalena is about to fight for the UFC Welterweight Championship and the UFC can't even both to help pay for the guy and the flights of his team …”

“This is so f— -pathetic from Dana White and the UFC. Della Maddalena has fundraising for his team to make the journey for a title fight. All So Dana can use $ 1 million in the casino every evening. Absolute Scumbag S -he would be ashamed if he could experience empathy.”

“Fighter who has to sell chicken plates to raise funds and bring his entire team to title fight, while UFC cleans up half a Billi in free cash flow … Make it logical …”

This is not the first time that Fighter Pay was in the middle of the heads of fans prior to a selection framework. During the long contract conflicts of Francis Ngannou with the UFC of 2021-2023, many blamed White and the negotiating tactics of the promotion for the Jones-fight that does not flourish.

Ngannou left the promotion at the beginning of 2023 and signed at the PFL, where he returned to MMA against Renan Ferreira last year. Despite his UFC leave, he remains very critical of the UFC and his business practices.

Belal Muhammad Downplay 'Basic' Jack della Maddalena before UFC 315 Clash

Muhammad does not believe that Maddalena will be a big challenge in the Octagon when they meet in May. Muhammad, considered by many as one of the best grapplers in mixed martial arts, promises to present 'Canelo Hands' and Outbox Maddalena.

If Mohammed passes Maddalena, he could get a well -known enemy for his next defending defense. Brady recently won a huge victory over Edwards in UFC London, anything but securing a title shot for his next booking.

Kamaru Usman's targeted return to the Octagon is another interesting element of the image of the Welterweight. Since UFC 286, Usman has not fought at Welterweight and was recently called by Brady at UFC London.
