AC Milan boss storms out of press conference after one question

AC Milan manager Sergio Concukicao was clearly not in the mood to speak with the media after the 1-0 defeat, for his side against Feyenoord in the first stage of their Champions League play-off on Wednesday evening.

A keeper Howler gave the Dutch side the upper hand in the tie with the return leg that took place in the San Siro next week.

Igor Paixao scored the only goal of the game after three minutes when his speculative effort of the left flank slid with pace of the wet surface and slid through the gloves of the goalkeeper Mike Maignan van Milan.

It should have been a routine for the French international and it started, which was ultimately a rather miserable night for the Italian giants.

And Conuuicao cut a frustrated figure while he attended the press conference after the game before he stormed after just one question.

The Portuguese were not only upset about the result, but also that he was forced to wait outside before he came to the media.

He said: 'We knew what the atmosphere was like, how aggressive they were, we knew it.

'Competitions become absolutely easier if you win duels. We entered the match with a chance of Tijjani Reijnders, then we admitted a goal.

“Well, things happen. It was not a happy game. We should have done more. We had the chances of at least equalizing.

“But that is enough now, I have waited 15 minutes to speak and now I am leaving.”

Kyle Walker, who came to Milan from Man City in January, it insisted that the team could recover from the loss.

He said: 'We can turn it around … We have to learn from it. It is not only the attackers – all the team must contribute to score goals. It is a two -legged game, so we are disappointed, but we are looking forward to the game in the San Siro stadio. '
