AC Milan close to sealing Pulisic contract extension

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Italian club is finalizing the details to extend Pulisic's contract. He will be one of the highest paid players in the squad.

Almost everything is going well for Christian Pulisic this season. Until last week, the American forward was enjoying one of the best moments of his career at AC Milan: he is the team's top scorer with eight goals and also tops the rankings for assists, level with Rafael Leão.

For that reason, the Rossoneri are happy with the USMNT captain and do not want to lose him. According to Fabrizio Romano, the club is finalizing the details to extend his contract until at least 2028, with an option for another year, taking him through to 2029.

The new deal would make Pulisic one of the club's highest-paid players, with an income of around 4 to 5 million euros ($4.2 million to $5.25 million).

After an unsuccessful spell at Chelsea, Pulisic signed a four-year contract with the Italian side until July 2027, so the extension is for another year and with the option to continue until 2029.

Pulisic's challenges for 2025

Unfortunately for the American player, 2024 ended on a low note for him. He suffered a tear in his right calf muscle during his team's 2–1 defeat to Atalanta on 6 December.

With any luck, he will be ready to return to action on January 3, when Milan play the Italian Super Cup semi-final against Juventus in Saudi Arabia.

Pulisic also wants to become a four-time champion of the Concacaf Nations League, a tournament that only the United States has won. The USMNT will face Panama in the semifinals in March, with the winners meeting Mexico or Canada in the final.
