After a long and frustrating waiting, Tom Aspinall's prediction finally came out.
Dana White announced that Aspinall is now the undisputed champion after confirming Jon Jones' pension.
The UFC -CEO had previously unveiled a deadline to try to let the heavyweight title Unification Bout happen with White stating that the promotion will continue if they could not get it done.
Aspinall responded to the news by stating that he hopes to make the division active again, after this recent update was not surprising for him.
The Brit has been focusing on new opponents for a while and even before the title was last defended, he was convinced that 'bones' would not enter the Octagon with him.

Fans praise Tom Aspinall after a clip from him who was predicted that Jon Jones would retire before fighting him.
During a performance on Michael Bisping's Believe You ME Podcast in August 2024, Tom Aspinall joined the show to talk about his successful interim defense at UFC 304 and the upcoming fight by Jon Jones with Stipe Miocic.
During the podcast, a few months before Jones participated one last time in the Octagon, the best consensus of all time would retire before fighting him.
The clip appeared on social media after the most important announcement of Dana White during the UFC Baku press conference after the fight.
“Because I won that fight, he has become completely silent and he will stay completely quiet about me until he retires, because there is no way to be on earth that he is going to fight me. No chance. I will retire Jon Jones without even fighting him.”
Although Aspinall had clearly preferred Jones to unite the heavyweight titles, it is clear that he made a decision some time ago that this ship had sailed.
Fans responded to the 10-month old clip via social media now that the prediction of the Brit has been proven to be correct.
“So outdated”
“As the prophecy predicted by the champion itself!”
'That's so cold ICL'
'Tom Aspinall is the most judicial man on earth'
“The man actually did it”
'Broos from the future'
Tom Aspinall stated earlier this week that he had already started training for new opponents
Waiting for Jon Jones's decision has been a frustrating time for Tom Aspinall, who would rather remain active by undergoing other contenders.
The new undisputed champion wrote in the commentary section of an Instagram post that he had continued from the Jones fight by trying to prepare for the other top names in the division.
“I train this week for (Alexander) Volkov and (Jilton) Almeida this week.”
It is not clear with who Asinall will be confronted in his first defense of the undisputed title, but it would not be surprising to see him try to get a fight on the next PPV card available.
