Agent Trimboli: Dorgu a good deal for Man Utd and Lecce

The young Dane arrived from Lecce in January and was discovered the newest jewel by the famous sports director of the Serie A Club Pantaelo Corvino.

Trimboli said on this week's business or football summit: “Corvino, who has a long tradition to buy players cheaply, to develop them and then sell them for substantial profit.

“In his mind, he had done the research and seen what was there, understood that January is one of those windows where if you have a plus and have to sell, a premium has been confirmed – because it is the worst time to sell.”

Trimboli added: “They knew for which previous players were sold and started with that number.

“Then it came down to market forces, supply and demand.

“United knew what they wanted to pay. Lecce knew what they wanted to receive.

“There was a little Brinkmanship in the game, but in the end they came there.”

United Manager Ruben Amorim quickly introduced the young person to the first team, although he was sent in the win in Ipswich last month.
