Bruno Fernandes could be the target this summer for an offer of large money from Al-Hilal, but Manchester United does not intend to sell their captain.
The Saudi Pro League Club has the money for a star that signs after Mohamed Salah decided to stay in Liverpool and reports in the Middle East that the representatives of Fernandes held conversations with Al-Hilal on Monday.
It is clear that last year there was a first contact between the two camps before Fernandes signed a new contract with United until 2027 with the option of an extension of 12 months.
This season, the 30-year-old playmaker has again been the excellent UNITED performer with 19 goals and 18 assists so far. He is one of the few players who would not be open to the club for sale this summer if they want to rebuild under Ruben Amorim.
But United Sources said on Monday evening that there was no formal offer of Al-Hilal and that they would not want to sell Fernandes when an offer arrives.
In March, Amorim rejected the possibility that his Talisman joined Real Madrid at the end of the season and said: 'No, it will not happen. He doesn't go anywhere because I have already told him!
'I want Bruno here because we want to win the Premier League again, so we want the best players to continue with us. He is 30, but he is still so young, because he plays 55 games every season.
“Between assists and goals he is at least 30, so he is the type of player we want here and he doesn't go anywhere.”
One of the Big Four Clubs in the SPL, Al-Hilal is looking for a tent player after missing Salah.
They want to sign a big name for the club World Cup this summer, but are currently aimed at naming a new coach to replace Jorge Jesus who left during the weekend.
