Al Hilal has begun talks with Mohamed Salah for a free transfer

According to Saudi media outlet Shootot, Al Hilal has started talks with Mohamed Salah for a free transfer and plans to have him replace Neymar at the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup.

The media reported that sources within Al Hilal confirmed that the club has entered negotiations with Salah's representatives for a free transfer and has refrained from signing Neymar.

Al Hilal are about to offer Salah an irresistible contract, while for Neymar the club plans to let him leave as a free agent at the end of the season.

Salah's contract expires in June this year and Liverpool are yet to renew it. The FIFA Club World Cup is scheduled for the end of June, and once Al Hilal signs Salah on a free transfer, they may have to negotiate with Liverpool to release him early as Liverpool will not be participating in the tournament.
