The second half of the second half of Cristiano Ronaldo led Al-Nassr to the third in the classification of the Saudi Pro League after they defeated Al-Hilal 2-1 on Friday.

Al-Hilal, however, reacted just after the hour when a teasing corner episode by Sergej Milinkovic-Savic was whistled to the rear pole, with Ali Al Bulayhi to the hand to put the ball in the net on the line.
The hosts continued to insist on a level after halving the shortage, with Marcos Leonardo close, but hoped that a comeback evaporated two minutes from full -time.
Al-Hilal Full-back Moteb Al Harbi was assessed to have treated the ball in the box, giving Ronaldo the chance to seal the victory of the penalty spot.
And the 40-year-old made no mistake from 12 meters and shot the ball through the middle to continue the fine start of Stefano Pioli until 2025.

Al-Nassr also continued their load to the top two. They have earned the most points (29) in the Pro League in 2025, six more than Al-Hilal (23).
And they were worth their victory and ended the game with an expected goals (XG) a total of 2.37 of their 18 shots to Al-Hilal's 1.61 of their 16 attempts, although only three of them were on a frustrating evening for Jorge Jesus' team.
