Match report

Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice in the second half to secure Al-Nassr a 2-1 comeback victory on Al-Riyad in the Saudi Pro League.

Al-Riyad had taken the lead in the first half of the stopping time, but a Vechtback inspired by Ronaldo ensured that Al-Nassr kept the pressure in second place.

Jhon Duran came closest to an early opener. He locked on Ronaldo's smart film before he put it in the side that was not busy at the nearby pole.

Despite the dominance of Al-Nassr, the visitors had the better chances, in which Bernard Mensah saw a long-distance attack shaving the top of the bar.

Faiz Selemani eventually found the breakthrough on the tranquility of peace, where he was able to pick up Khaibari's saved shot up close by the rebound of Abdulelah.

Al-Nassr repaired parity 11 minutes in the second half. Sadio Mane celebrated the face of the goal, and Ronaldo quickly adapted to tap it in an empty net from two meters.

The 40-year-old got his second in the 64th minute and smashed a loop bend on the volley to have him crash in the net of the bottom of the bar.

Al-Riyad was then reduced to 10 men in the 94th minute when Ahmad Asiri Duran caught with a late tackle, which resulted in a straight red card.

While Al-Nassr moved within a point of Al-Hilal, Al-Qadsiah missed the opportunity to jump to the fourth after a 2-1 defeat against Al-Feiha.
