Newcastle legend Alan Shearer beat the club during their approach of this summer's transfer window.
The Magpies have passed a disappointing summer that have been rejected by people like Bryan Mbeumo, Joao Pedro, Matheus Cunha, Marc Guehi and James Trafford.
Benjamin Sesko added to the list last week when he chose to become a member of Manchester United of RB Leipzig instead.
In the meantime, the record of Newcastle of all time continues to sign the future of Alexander Isak in the air with the random striker trying to force a move to Premier League champions Liverpool.
Shearer has pronounced a SCTAHing judgment about his former club and writes in his BBC Sport-Kolom: 'Until now, Newcastle's preseason was a nightmare. There is no other way to describe it.
“They have had a disastrous transfer window, in which they have missed all their top goals for which they went, and moreover they have let Alexander Isak hang over them while preparing for the opening weekend.”
He added: 'Newcastle went into the summer without chief executive or sports director, which I love. They knew that Darren Eales was abandoned last September – 11 months ago as a chief executive – and Paul Mitchell left at the end of June as a sports director.
'I don't know why they have never appointed anyone or that it has hindered them in the transfer market, because I am not within the club, but from the outside it is not a good appearance.
“It is a mess and it raises the question of who has made the big decisions.”
Newcastle loves Brentford Striker Yoane Wissa to fill the potential emptiness that has been left by Isak, with Daily Mail Sport that reveals last week that a deal is expected to happen.
Ollie Watkins is also one of the potential goals of the club, and Alan Shearer believes that bringing in both the Aston Villa Forward and Wissa would represent good things for Newcastle.
Sherer wrote: 'If they are available, Yoane Wissa van Brentford and Ollie Watkins from Aston Villa are proven Premier League spiers and probably the best scenario from Newcastle's position.
'At the same time, I appreciate that fans of those clubs do not want their Center-Forwards to be linked to movements, in the same way as supporters in Newcastle at the moment.
'Wissa's situation is particularly similar to that of Isak. It just shows you that this is something that always happens in football, and it is of course frustrating if you are wrong. '
Newcastle has added their team with the signing sessions of Anthony Elanga, Aaron Ramsdale and Antonito Cordero.
AC Milan defender Malick Thiaw is also about to become a member after the clubs had agreed a package of approximately £ 34.3 million
Newcastle opens their Premier League campaign with a trip to Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon.
