Las Palmas star Alberto Moleiro has expressed his future desire to join Barcelona.
The 21-year-old has been consistently linked with a possible move to Catalonia as his stock in Gran Canaria continues to rise.
Moleiro has drawn comparisons with former Las Palmas playmaker Pedri and the midfielder has been tipped to follow his fellow Tenerife star to Barcelona.
After a strong first season in La Liga in 2023/24, Barcelona looked ready to make the move, but Las Palmas resisted interest and he remained in the Canary Islands.
Recent reports from CaughtOffside claim that Arsenal and Newcastle United are both interested in Moleiro, with both clubs sending scouts to watch him in action in recent weeks.
However, the player himself appears to favor a move to Barcelona as his first choice, with his position clear on where his next career move lies.
“I am very happy now. I am not thinking about leaving Las Palmas, but I hope to play for a big club in the future, like Barcelona or any other big club,” said Diario AS.
“That is the dream of every footballer. But now is not the right time, but when the time comes, I have to be ready for the opportunity.”
Las Palmas are expected to listen to transfer offers next summer, with the chance of a contract extension beyond 2026 unlikely for Moleiro.
