Barcelona defender Alejandro Balde confirmed he was racially abused by Getafe fans.
La Blaugrana slumped to a fourth straight draw at the Estadio Coliseum as they continued to battle against the struggling hosts.
A lack of attacking power was the main problem for Barcelona, as indicated by Hansi Flick in his post-match interview.
The draw leaves Barcelona five points adrift at the top of La Liga on a frustrating night for Flick.
The former Bayern Munich head coach expressed his annoyance at certain incidents involving home fans, but declined to comment on details after the match.
Defender Balde was clearer on this when he confirmed that match referee Pablo Gonzalez Fuertes had activated a La Liga protocol on racist chanting with a warning in the stadium.
“In the first half I was the victim of racist abuse. It shouldn't happen again. Now I want to concentrate on the upcoming Champions League match,” said Marca.
“I told the referee and he activated the protocol. Now we have to try to forget it.”
Flick backed Balde's comments, claiming there is 'no room for this in football or life'. La Liga is expected to provide an update on possible sanctions for Getafe in the coming days.
