Alex Pereira has started the Vechtweek by revealing how much weight he should cut for UFC 313.
The light heavyweight champion will defend his belt against Magomed Ankalaev in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on March 8.
Just a month ago 'Patan' fans shocked by stepping on the scale to reveal his weight as 235 pounds
Since then, Alex Pereira has dropped off a bit, but not as much as you would expect for someone who should not be more than 205 pounds on Friday.

Alex Pereira set for large weight area
On Sunday Pereira and his team took a private jet to the fighting capital of the world.
After he was touched in Sin City, the favorite of the Brazilian fan stepped on a scale to check his weight.
It only wore underpants and socks, it showed that he currently weighs 103.2 kg, that is 227.5 lbs.
This means that Pereira must lose 22.5 pounds in the next five days or run the risk of losing your UFC belt on the scale.
Fortunately, that should not be a problem, because Pereira never missed the weight during his iconic UFC career.
Even when he fought in the middleweight, which has a limit of 185 pounds, the KO artist always touched his mark.
Alex Pereira proposes $ 200,000 UFC 313 bet
Pereira has tried to increase the commitment for his resorting competition with Ankalaev this weekend.
The 37-year-old wants to make a big bet on the fight, with the win to people in need.
“Because you are so sure that you will win $ 200,000 for the winner's charity,” tweeted Pereira.
“Win or loss this helps people in need. It is in hands @aliabdelaziz00 @Aankalaevm. “

“Salamualaykum, we will answer tomorrow, Ramadan Mubarak,” Ankalaev replied indirectly.
Pre-Fight bets are often made, but it is very rare that the loser actually pays his debt.
Last weekend Gervonta Davis shook his hand with Lamont Roach on a $ 250.00 pre-Fight bet.
'Tank' promised to ko opponent before their fight was called a majority of draw after 12 action rounds.
UFC legend Henry Cejudo begged Roach to protest against the Dodgy decision, but there is almost no talk about chat about him in his bet.
Hopefully the Pereira vs Ankalaev loser will cough the dough, because it is promised a charity.
