Alex Pereira vs Thomas Powell visited again

Pereira returned to MMA after more than four years away from the sport in November 2020.

The 37-year-old had an impressive 2-1 record, but there was still a lot of hype behind him.

UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya no longer had people to beat, so those who can be better than his old kickboxing rival, who had surpassed 'stylebender' twice and had beaten him so hard that he needed an oxygen mask.

To earn a place in the Premier League of MMA, Pereira had to prove itself against 4-4 middleweight Thomas Powell.

Pereira caught Powell clean with his characteristic left hook for just over four minutes in their fight.

While Pereira celebrated a sensational victory, his opponent remained on the ground for a long time.
