Alex Pereira has thrown down a $ 200,000 glove to Magomed Ankalaev while the couple is going to their confrontation this weekend.
The light-heavyweight champion is especially convinced that he can beat Ankalaev. He even told Bloody Elbow in an exclusive chat this week that he begs fans to bet against him to stimulate the profit for importance, where he is an ambassador.
Now Pereira offers a huge six -digit bet on his rival while entering the UFC 313 Fight Week. Both men will have to make the weight limit of the 205 pound championship, which means that Pereira has to cut more than 21 pounds within four days.
Alex Pereira offers $ 200,000 bet to Magomed Ankalaev for UFC 313 Fight
On Saturday evening, the bet is as high as they can be for both Alex Pereira and Magomed Ankalaev. The champion stares down a full demolition of his division within just 11 months, while his challenger finally gets the shot to realize a dream years in the making.
But Pereira wants to add Jeopardy even more and go to social media to offer Ankalaev a huge premium of $ 200,000 to the fight. He even focused on his manager Ali Abdelaziz and noticed that they both seem particularly confident about the outcome.
“Because you are so sure, you will win $ 200,000 for the charity of the winners,” Pereira offered last night in a tweet aimed at both Ankalaev and Abdelaziz. “Win or loss this helps people in need. It's in your hands. “
Magomed Ankalaev has chased Alex Pereira fight
This fight is the highlight of a long chase for Ankalaev, who has been one of the best contenders in light heavyweight for years. He only lost once in the UFC, a freak debut entry to Paul Craig, and is otherwise unbeaten.

His path to the gold was long and he was forced to be forced to overcome Aleksandar Rakic in Dubai last October to earn his shot on the belt. But he now has his chance of Pereira and offers a fascinating stylistic matchup.
During his dominant run to the middleweight and light heavyweight gold, Pereira has defeated almost all striking specialists, except Jan Bachowicz in his debut of 205LB. Sean Strickland, Israel Adesanya, Jiri Prochazka, Jamahal Hill and Khalil Rountree JR all played on his strengths.
However, Ankalaev is a different kind of challenger who is more dependent on a grinding wrestling style that will keep him busy, and possibly on his back, for five rounds.
