Alex Pereira responds to rumors of UFC heavyweight title fight with threatening message

Alex Pereira may unintentionally insert himself in the UFC heavyweight title interviews and has now cleared up his upcoming plans.

The Saga of the UFC in which Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall are involved, has been going on for several months now, but has now apparently reached its peak.

Earlier this week, Jones admitted that he is not enthusiastic about a fight against Aspinall, and hinted that he will not fight against the interim champion after months of postponing negotiations.

And with that UFC boss Dana White admitted that he will continue with the potential fight, despite trying to guarantee fans for months that the fight would happen.

With Aspinall now looking for another dance partner, former UFC -light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira recently shared an amazing weight -wise update, which inadvertently added to the Saga.

Alex Pereira responds to UFC Heavyweight Title Fight Rumors

Since losing his title of 205 pounds against Magomed Ankalaev on UFC 313 earlier this year, it seemed guaranteed that he would fight him in an immediate rematch.

Nevertheless, Ankalaev claimed that the Brazilian would not return to the sport because the negotiations between the two lay people to block.

And once 'Patan' fans updated on his current weight, which is more than 240 pounds, fans suggested that Pereira then possibly fights Asinall for the undisputed heavyweight title.

In an attempt to clean up any claims, Pereira recently gave his fans a different update, which states that he will fight against the Russian next, regardless of whether there is a heavyweight movement on the horizon.

“Well, everywhere around the time frame of September, October or November for me it makes no difference, I just want to fight,” Pereira told Mmafighting.

“My focus is now on fighting Ankalaev, fighting it in the division, get my belt back and then we will see what happens next.

“I have nothing to say to you honestly, if I could fight at the moment in heavyweight (I would say something), these guys now let each other kill each other in those weight class and I will concentrate on slightly heavyweight,” he continued.

Alex Pereira has previously talked about a switch to heavyweight earlier

It now seems to be a perfect time for 'Patan' to go to heavyweight in an attempt to make UFC history, but he first wants redemption over Ankalaev.

Because fans Jones vs As Aspinall miss, the next best best to be Aspinall vs Pereira, in a fight that both fighters have spoken about earlier.

If the Brazilian successfully returns his title against the Russian champion, a switch to heavyweight could come soon after.
