Only a few hours after his devastating title loss on UFC 313, Alex Pereira responded and speaks a potential rematch.
On UFC 313 on Saturday, Alex Pereira wanted to break the record of Jon Jones for the least time between four title defenses, when he accepted Magomed Ankalaev.
Unfortunately for the Brazilian superstar, his epic light heavyweight title rule came to an end when Ankalaev opened him over a closely disputed five rounds and became the new champion.
Although the large majority of the fan base assuming that the Russian 'Patan' would expose struggling, Ankalaev got him better on the feet for much of the fight, which led to Joe Rogan Pereira's version 'uncharacteristicist'.

Alex Pereira promises to 'make some adjustments' while responding to title loss
During his time as a champion, Pereira was by far the most active one and he saved the promotion from several times last year, with the Headlining UFC 300 and UFC 303 on late notification.
Despite his devastating loss against Ankalaev, instead of taking a lot of time out, the 37-year-old in his Octagon interview stated that he will look at action as soon as possible and will probably return to the training within two days.
The Brazilian was then supported by UFC Baas, Dana White, who during the Post Fight press conference gave that a rematch between Pereira and Ankalaev will probably happen.
And with that 'Patan' his fans sent an update, just a few hours after losing his title.
“That is everyone, some points, but I'm good, I'm going to rest a bit, I'm coming back as I have always done,” he started explaining in a video on his social media.
“This has happened before, but I'm good. I am grateful for all your support, for all your love and always support me.
“I am here with my people, my family and my team … Everyone is here with me, is going to have some pizza, that is, life goes on … I'm going to make some adjustments for the Rematch and I am much better back, you can count on it … Chama,” he continued.
Magomed Ankalaev accuses Pereira of 'Running' during the UFC 313 Title Fight
Immediately after his title profit, Ankalaev described that during his reign the door will be open as a champion for all contenders to fight on the title, who has been waiting for so long on the shot itself.
Not only that, the 32-year-old also flamed Pereira for his performance, who accused him of 'running' during the fight.
“I had faith in it, I kept going, I kept putting pressure on him and he kept running away from me, this man ran away from me for 20 minutes,” Ankalaev claimed during the press conference after the fight.
“And then at the end of the fight he said he was not sure why the victory was not given to him, who would get the victory? I under pressure put him the whole fight, he ran for 20 minutes and then he wonders who should win?
“I am happy to do a rematch if he wants a rematch, but then he might be able to fight in the Rematch for real and not running away all the time,” Ankalaev continued.
