Alex Pereira’s sister works part-time as Amazon driver while pursuing her own fight career

Alex Pereira's life before becoming one of the biggest UFC stars is well documented, as the Brazilian worked in a tire repair shop to fund his combat sports journey.

When 'Poatan' was working his way up in the kickboxing world, he worked in a tire repair shop in Brazil and admitted that he was an alcoholic.

Luckily, Alex Pereira turned his life around and became one of the best kickboxers in the world before making the transition to MMA after such a short time and becoming one of the biggest stars in the UFC.

However, 'Poatan' is not the only fighter in the family. His sister Aline Pereira hopes to achieve the same success as her brother in kickboxing and MMA.

Aline Pereira works part-time as a delivery person at Amazon

Like her brother, Aline also works part-time as she pursues her fighting career while working as an Amazon delivery driver.

The 34-year-old hasn't experienced nearly the same kind of success as 'Poatan', as she is 2-2 in kickboxing and 1-2 in MMA after her debut at LFA in 2022.

Despite this, she scored a victory at Karate Combat last October and is scheduled for her second appearance in the pit on January 24.

Ahead of her Karate Combat fight against Gisela Luna, Pereira has admitted the difficulty of balancing her job as an Amazon delivery driver with training and preparing to fight.

“I make deliveries for Amazon and we do what we have to do. This routine is very tiring because we still have to take into account the training hours and work, but in the end it all works out,” she told MMA Fighting.

“It's not easy… We deliver for four and a half hours. But it's great to be here. The United States is also very good to me and my son,” she continued.

Will Aline Pereira be able to match Alex's success?

Now that 'Poatan' has become one of the biggest stars in martial arts, Aline hopes to follow his blueprint to become a big star herself.

Despite being 34 years old, Alex didn't join the UFC until she was 34, meaning she still has time to earn a contract.

Pereira, on the other hand, has his next title fight booked as he will defend his 205-pound title against Magomed Ankalaev at UFC 313.
